Everything about Kurdistan is for everyone, regardless of religion, ideology, or political belief, with the purpose of educating people and establishing Kurdish unity.
Unity Manifesto
Unity Manifesto for Kurdistan
For centuries, the Kurdish people have been divided, oppressed, and denied the right to self-determination. Yet, despite these challenges, the Kurds remains unbroken. t is true that we face challenges, but what is to expect from the geopolitical situation that we remain within? The people of Kurdistan, from all parts of our land—Rojava, Başûr, Bakur, and Rojhelat—declare our commitment to a shared destiny built on freedom, justice, and dignity, but most of all – Unity.
1. National Unity Above All
We affirm that Kurdistan is one nation, and no external forces should divide us. While our struggles differ across regions, our liberation is interconnected. We reject sectarianism, tribalism, and political fragmentation that weaken our cause. We embrace cooperation between all Kurdish movements, parties, and communities to forge a common path toward self-determination.
2. Self-Determination and Sovereignty
Every nation has the right to govern itself. The Kurdish people shall determine their own political future through democratic means. Whether through autonomy, confederation, or independence, our governance must reflect the will of the people, free from foreign domination.
3. Democracy and Human Rights
A free Kurdistan must be built on the pillars of democracy, pluralism, and human rights. We commit to a system where all voices are heard, all identities are respected, and all citizens—regardless of religion or ethnicity—are equal under the law.
4. Protection of Kurdish Culture, Language, and History
Our language, music, literature, and traditions are the heartbeat of our nation. We vow to preserve and promote the Kurdish language in all dialects, ensuring its place in education, governance, and media. Our history, too long erased or rewritten by others, shall be reclaimed and taught truthfully to future generations.
5. Women’s Liberation and Social Justice
Kurdish women have played a central role in our struggle for freedom. We reaffirm that a free Kurdistan cannot exist without the full liberation of women. Gender equality must be at the core of our political, social, and economic systems. We also stand against all forms of discrimination and oppression within our own society.
6. Economic Solidarity and Development
We aim for a self-sufficient Kurdistan that harnesses its natural resources responsibly and equitably. Our economic future must be built on sustainability, social welfare, and an end to corruption. Investments in education, healthcare, and infrastructure should serve all Kurds, not just the privileged few.
7. Defense and Security Based on Freedom, Not Oppression
The Kurdish people have long defended their homeland with honor. Our security forces must protect our people, not repress them. We reject any militarization that serves external interests or fuels internal division. Our armed movements must be guided by the principles of justice and liberation, not authoritarianism.
8. A Unified Strategy for Global Recognition
The Kurdish cause cannot succeed in isolation. We must engage diplomatically, politically, and culturally with the international community. A divided Kurdistan is easy to ignore; a united Kurdistan demands recognition. We call on our diaspora, intellectuals, and activists to play a key role in elevating our voice on the global stage.
9. A Vision for the Future
We envision a Kurdistan where every child grows up free from war and persecution, where families are not torn apart by displacement, and where Kurds no longer have to justify their existence to the world. Our unity is our strength, and our future is in our hands.
From Amed to Hewlêr, from Qamişlo to Mahabad, from the mountains to the plains, we stand as one nation, with one voice, for one destiny—Kurdistan.
